Join Harris Center teacher-naturalists Jenna Spear, and Jaime Hutchinson for this fun and energizing professional development workshop for teachers of all grades.
This hands-on workshop will inspire you to step outside and investigate the secret lives of New Hampshire’s wild land mammals, right from your schoolyard. Learn how Harris Center teacher-naturalists lay the groundwork for productive outdoor mammal evidence explorations through strategies like mapmaking, forest and field classroom management, and support for student-led inquiry. We’ll also share recommended resources to help you bring mammal studies to life for your students.
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Harris Center. Cost: $120. You can learn more about our professional development program for educators on our website.
