Join us for an exploration of one of our most fascinating long-distance migrants: the Broad-winged Hawk!
Designed for teachers of grades 3 through high school, this engaging professional development workshop will delve into the wonders of raptor migration. Discover hands-on lessons that connect to NGSS standards while incorporating topography, mapping, geography, weather, math, writing, and more. The day will also include a field trip to the Pack Monadnock Raptor Observatory at Miller State Park in Peterborough, where we’ll witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of hawks in flight.
