Description

 

Join Harris Center Bird Conservation Director Phil Brown for a field course on the identification, behavior, and breeding ecology of the hawks, eagles, and falcons that call the SuperSanctuary home. We’ll meet at a new site each week to search for different local raptor species and discover their secrets. Topics will include nest building, phenology, vocalizations and other behavior, diet, and habitat requirements. Be prepared for off-trail walking in a range of conditions, including weather and biting insects. Most field sites will be within a 10-minute drive of Hancock.
