Description

Join Phil Brown and Ignacio Oreamuno for a series of spring-season wanderings in tucked-away places close to the Harris Center. Each exploration will focus on a different natural history theme related to the conditions that present themselves that day — whether appreciating the sounds of birdsong, enjoying the sights and smells of spring wildflowers, or simply admiring the beauty of spring emerging. Through “micro-exploring”— the practice of focusing attention and intention on a smaller geographic area— and with the help of a little caffeine, your eyes will open to new experiences right in front of you. The course fee includes free Troubardour Coffee with each session and a lesson in making coffee the Costa Rican way.

This group meets Fridays, April 25, May 2, 9, and 16 from 8 to 10 a.m. at field sites throughout the SuperSanctuary.

Cost: $100 for Harris Center supporters / $120 for all others for the entire series. (Note: This ESI course will initially be open to those who wish to register for the entire series. Opportunities to register for single sessions will be posted here in the near future. Drop-in registration is $25 for Harris Center supporters and $30 for all others. Check back for updates!)
