Monadnock Leadership Camp

Join us for this new summer camp for teens, which blends wilderness
skill-building and leadership development. Monadnock Leadership
Camp is an adventure-based experience designed to prepare teens for
counselor-in-training (CIT) roles at Harris Center camp, Peterborough
Rec camp, and beyond. We’ll start with a day of preparation at the
Harris Center before heading to Spoonwood Pond for two nights of
immersive backcountry learning. Campers will build core outdoor
skills, including canoe camping and trip safety, while engaging in
thoughtful activities that explore what it means to be a leader in
outdoor recreation. To put these new skills into practice and gain
confidence in the field, participants are asked to volunteer for one
week of Harris Center summer camp (July 13–17 or July 20–24)
or Peterborough Rec summer camp (July 6–August 14).
