Join Phil Brown, Harris Center Bird Conservation Director, and Ignacio Oreamuno, CEO of Troubardour Coffee and The Dreamcatchers, for a series of winter wanderings in tucked-away places close to the Harris Center. Each exploration will focus on a different natural history theme related to the conditions that present themselves that day – whether following animal trails through a boulder field, watching winter songbirds around the warmth of a bonfire, seeking out the flowing water of a winter thaw, or simply admiring the beauty and science of the winter woods. Through “micro-exploring” – the practice of focusing attention and intention on a smaller geographic area – and with the help of a little caffeine, your eyes will open to new experiences right in front of you. The course fee includes free Troubardour coffee with each session, and a lesson in making coffee the Costa Rican way.
