$60 for Harris Center supporters / $80 for all others
Join Harris Center naturalist Susie Spikol to learn how to identify and interpret winter animal signs and tracks. This mostly field-based course will take us into local woodlands, fields, and wetland edges in search of evidence of animal activity. We’ll focus on tracks, scat, browse, and other feeding signs, as well as the behaviors and adaptations they reveal. Come ready to deepen your understanding of — and connection to — the wild world right outside your door.
Harris Center naturalist and author Susie Spikol has a longstanding passion for New Hampshire mammals. Her famous scat collection is a point of pride. In her spare time, she likes to follow pawprints wherever they take her.
